Description

I use Safari as my primary browser on Mac OS X (latest version - 10.5.7). When I right-click on a file in Web File Manager (by holding Control and clicking my laptop's trackpad), I get a contextual menu for Safari, with options like "open link in new window", "open link in new tab", "download linked file", and so on, instead of the proper WFM menu "delete file", "rename file", etc.

If I use Firefox instead, I can see the WFM menu and I can delete, rename, etc. files.

I don't have Safari and cannot debug - this is where the community must step up to assist. Patches are always welcome.

With Safari 4.03 and Mac OS X 10.5.8 it also happens that during upload the WFM freeze (not always). I checked the debug flag but there're no output I can post about js errors.

There're no error messages, just an infinite waiting time and a blue message "working..please wait.". I'm very new to Drupal but I've experience in coding. I'd glad to help if guided.

Okay, I got myself Safari for windows to test this:

Right click works - this must be related to your setup or it is disabled in macos. Can you try right clickin on a folder or file icon?

Lu - maybe its the file size? I've successfully uploaded files using Safari, however it might take some time uploading (and may fail if your server side doesn't allow for them). Other than that you can try to activate the developer menu through the Safari settings and check if any of the scripts fail through the scripts menu of the developer menu.
