Hi,
I encountered some problems with taxonomy markers. I had it all up and running and it was working as expected.
Somehow, and I do not know why, after I had to change the taxonomy I had to reset the markers for the terms.
Yet the map was not showing the custom markers anymore, just a default Goog Maps Red marker.
I found out I had to resave each node to make it work as expected before, took me a while though.
So hope this helps others!
Cheers,
Bartezz

ArthurC commentedI have encountered the same thing. I've done it a number of times, and it seems to work like this:
I have a vocabulary with a set of terms/items. Each term has its own marker.
When I insert a new term in the vocabulary, I don't just append it, I need to put it in alphabetical order with the items that were already there. I then need to go through the item list from the new item to the end, resetting the marker for each term.
Then I need to go through all the nodes which are associated with the vocabulary terms from the new item on to the end, and resave them so that they continue to display the correct marker on the maps.
I could live with this at the beginning, because I didn't have many terms or markers and didn't have many nodes. The item list and markers have grown, and so has the number of nodes.
Now the manual update is time-consuming and is revealing itself as a problem in search of a programmed solution. A two procedure solution: update the markers associated with the vocabulary items list, and do a bulk update on the nodes (preferably without changing the node update date).
Does anyone know of such a fix?
