I have the blackout theme installed on my local website.I tried settting up fckeditor i found that the header image of the theme is visible inside the text area of the editor.
Not sure if this has been encountered before.

But, if i recall correctly, i faced a similar issue when i first installed the theme. Don't remember how i resolved it. was a long time ago. may be i can help you.
