Share This 2.x widget breaks tabbed mini-panel Java in Safari 4.x

Here's how I came across this:

In Safari, Using Service Links 2.x dev

Front page has tabbed mini-block panel

Internal page has Share This in node link

1) Go to front page
2) Click link to node that has Share This widget
3) Open and close ST widget panel
4) Hit back button to return to front page

Result: Tabbed mini-panel on front page is now broken; clearing cache and reloading page doesn't work

Solution: Rolling back to 1.6 version is OK - Firefox is OK in all circumstances (I can't test on PC.)
