Hello,

I need to hire one person to work with me on an ongoing casual (a few hours per week) basis developing my community website.

You should be able to provide links to several examples of work you've done, as well as at least 5 references.

I'd want one issue addressed at a time (like 1 per week) as, while it's a paid project, I don't have a large chunk of money to pay at once. I'm not a company, just one person running a nonprofit-style arts community project out of my own pocket. Project will be ongoing, hopefully (depending on your rates) to be completed by late November. If you're someone working independently, who wants to pick up some extra bits of work to do outside of a regular job, this is a good one for you.

After content issues are addressed, site will probably need its own theme.

The first thing that will need to be done is upgrading the site from 5.x to 6.x.

If you're interested, email me with your rate for upgrading the site, along with examples of work and references, and we'll go from there.

After that, below are the most important things that need to be addressed (there are more, but these are the most crucial). They're at varying levels of difficulty and involvement - some are extremely simple and would take only a half hour or so (activating and implementing a module), while some are more involved and require a deeper understanding of Drupal.

Appearance
* reconfigure a book into a more easily accessible drop-down system
* reorganize and beautify galleries
* RSS feed section
* Create a functional and attractive multimedia presence

Function
* New Search Function (information searchable by 2 categories at once)
* Better user profiles (facebook-style, for example)
* Way for members to see all of their own content in one list / place
* Member Ranking with Comments
* Variable Levels of Accessibility (members vs. visitors)

I don't think so. This is a project that's specific to the exact content on my website.
