taxonomy_autocomplete_validate error after adding new term field + autocomplete widget

I suspect this is happening because of the default value widget instance in the previous form. I'll investigate, but I cannot quite yet. It would be helpful to know if the default value is stored in the instance settings.

This issue is resolved in the patch at #557932: Taxonomy term field autocomplete widgets never validate, always lose values..
