finally I made it to sign up for the Drupal community and to be honest I'm quite a newbie when it comes to Drupal. After some relapses in installing and administrating my own website with Drupal I decided to give this CMS another try. And until now it works quite well... ;-)
Actually I'm working on a website for my grade of school and although I have a "Virtual Server" (so I have nearly all of the administrative rights and also access via SSH) and the full control over it I can't make it to get an image gallery completely installed. What I'm able to do is to set up and to configure a gallery module but when I want to upload images I get redirected to the frontpage without any changes relating to my gallery.
I'm not writing about a certain image gallery because I've tried the modules called: "image", "node_gallery" (and it's required components), "gallerix" and some others and none of them was able to upload pictures.
I really don't know where is the problem - it could be anywhere. I also don't receive any alerts from Drupal, so I think within Drupal everything is okay with the modules. Maybe there are some permission things which have to be solved or there is a problem with the ".htaccess" in the "files"-folder.
