What kind of content is a guestbook entry?

Hello,
First of all, sorry for my english, but i am french...
I recently installed the spam module to filter spam messages but it seems to don't work.
When i go in the spam configuration page, i can not select the "Guestbook entry" as a content to filter.
Does the guestbook use the "Page" content? (i only enabled the "comment" for the moment)
