I have loaded the dev version for the GMap module, but when I click on "build a gmap module" I get this error "Javascript is required to view this map" at the top. It seems this has come up before in previous versions. Ive done some seaching, but still cant seem to fix it. Help?!

I couldnt get the gmap module working, but did manage to manually modify my page.tpl and have a map display just gong through the google map api tutorial here http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/introduction.html#The_Hel...

Apparently the javascript source file for google maps has to be loaded in the area because if attempted elsewhere for example within the body of a node, it just wouldnt load.

Can anyone offer a link for a good tutorial on setting up the Gmap module. All I want to do is display a few maps on my website, with traffic condition overlays. I really dont think I need the GMap module afterall
