enabling this module cause root user can't edit other user's account. It automatically logout and ask to login again. Upon login, it give access denied page.

Disabling this module, things back to normal.

well, disable the module does not solve the issue. Only root user has this problem. other use with "administer permission" can edit other account as normal.

http://drupal.org/project/adminrole also not the issue. any similar experience?

Works for me. Re-open this and provide more info if you think it is still an issue.

Also, if the problem continues with this module disabled then the problem is probably due to something else.
