Gmap in Tabs

Description
Tabs (jQuery UI tabs) module now hides the tabs that do not have any content in it.
However, Gmap still shows even if there is no information about location and the country is selected by default as "NOT LISTED". Most probably, Tabs think of this as a value and tries to display it.
I have been redirected here from the issue created in the Tabs module (http://drupal.org/node/537798#comment-1953206)
Is there anyway to get around this?
