Hi folks,
I apologize in advance if this question has been asked, but I can't seem to find a 4.7 version of TinyMCE, although the module page refers to 4.7 features.
Please advise.
Thanks!
Dan

Based on other comments about tinymce development i 'm pretty sure that it says 4.6 but it works with 4.7

The CVS version seems to
The CVS version seems to work quite well with 4.7 and is much, much better than the version for 4.6. I haven't tested it exhaustively; there might still be a few issues open to prevent them from making an official release for 4.7.
Inserting Images
I have it installed but somehow I can not insert an image. I uploaded it to the server manually and I was using the image button in TinyMCE CVS but all tags are basically empty. I wrote the code in myself then, getting frustrated with this.
Maybe I will switch to FCK, but I haven't found a version for 4.7.
I can't really see why you say that Tiny has gotten so much better.
EDIT: Tables won't work either with 4.7.b6

Img assist
Img assist integration is much better in this version but I am finding that the filters are more aggressive and that there is a bug if you have a node with more than one text area (nodes created using flexinode, or dashboard modules for example) where the tyinMCE module is now ignoring the valid HTML instruction and screening everything out when the node is opened for editing more than once.
I am getting clearer on where it fails so i will soon file a precise bug report.
Unfortunately from what i can tell of the discussions elsewhere there is no other user friendly text editor that is well developed for drupal.
My users do really like the interface so what i am leaning toward is setting it up as default on for novice users who do relatively limited editing. default off for others.
please post here if you get another user friendly formatting editor working on drupal.
FCK
Well there is. FCKeditor works better, but I don't like the image upload. If I could get FCK working with img_assist it would be perfect.
The way the image upload works with FCKeditor, the users can put their files anywhere they like. There is no well defined structure. With img_assist there is.
On Websites where only I can log in, I use FCKeditor, since it simply works better.
On Websites where I give others logins, and let them upload pictures I have no choice other than TinyMCE.
