Easier batch updating

I'd like to request an easier Batch Updating interface, something similar to the Affiliated Content interface where you have a table that lets you select multiple domains/nodes via checkboxes, then apply an action or setting to all checked boxes.

This would be most applicable to the Site Status batch updating screen when you want to set all domains offline to perform a database update. I have about 30 domains, but have read that some people have hundreds. Having to manually set each domain to offline is tedious and could be improved with a single option applied to all selected domains.
