I notice that this module seems to be no longer supported.... by that I mean the download links table has been removed and my drupal install is saying it is no longer supported. I am a wholly supportive of this issue in ibercart of displaying prices including tax - specifically VAT.
Would someone take 2 secs to explain the future of this module - I am looking to apply the patch and get it working with Ubercart rc6 but am concerned that if I progress my project along this line and this module is not supported the problems could get worse in the future. Not a good prospect as I must have this feature moving forward - literally two weeks from launching this store!
Any chance of this being reopened as we progress or should I consider another approach? Its of great concern because this excellent little module seems integral to the future use of Ubercart in the EU which at the end of the day must make up a significant proportion of potential ubercart users!
Please dont take this as a gripe - I applaud the creators if this module and thank you. If I could code better I'd be up to my elbows helping to solve this issue. If anyone wants me to help design anything for this contribution visually I'm happy to help!
Thanks for your time.

longwaveThis module is still under development and will continue to be supported and developed once Ubercart 2.0 is released.
For the time being I have removed the "supported" flag as otherwise the rc3 version is marked as "recommended" - but this is not actually recommended for use with Ubercart 2.0 rc4 or above! It was also an attempt to get people to read the project page before upgrading to the latest Ubercart/uc_vat versions, to make them aware that a patch is currently required if they wish to upgrade.

Its a relief to hear you will be continuing to support this module moving into the ubercart 2 full release.... that at least gives me hope that what is essentially a fantastic module in ubercart can actually be used to full affect in EU countries.
I guess for now I have two options - either rollback to my ubercart rc3 version, keep going on that basis and come back later - or try to apply the patch to rc6 and then pray that the future release of ubercart doesnt leave me with a nightmare scenario. Essentially I have a project that needs to go live with in the next two weeks - its now near completion so I am stick with what is available..... I would like the new rc6 as it offers multiple weight shipping quotes..... but alas - its never that easy! Would you recommend sticking with rc3 and not using the patch - or would you say the patch is a safe bet when the new updates to ubercart come out....?
Keep up the good work - I love drupal and its whole ethos..... my only wish is that my php was good enought to contribute more..... but I'm afraid I'm a designer first and coder second so its a bit advanced for me. I have no problem helping where I can though, so anything you want doing to contribute that I can manage - let me know!
