I see where you can edit the permissions on each individual term, but the problem is, it doesn't seem to do anything.

I created a user named test and created a role for him called publisher. I gave the publisher role access to create story content.

Whenever i go to add/node/story regardless of the term permissions, it always grants me full access to all vocabularies and terms contained within them.

How is this supposed to work?

Ok, so i had my AHA! moment with this module.

did not realize that by default, every term requires a role assigned to the permissions, otherwise, it's open season for everyone.

this module seems quite interesting...
