Taxonomy terms with permissions

Hi, I have a little problem, I need that when creating a new poll the user can choose if the votes of the poll can be inspected (poll's inspect votes permission or kinda) but the permissions works with all of a role or none not for particular content. That's when I saw the module taxorole, it can be used to link a role with a taxonomy term (so the term has the permissions of the role), and it would be great for may case, the problem is the module isn't for drupal 6, only is for 5 and also in 5 is dosen't complete. I searched for solutions (yea tac lite and taxonomy permissions dosen't apply), so if anyone is kindly enough to help me I'll bee so thankful.
