With Drupal 4.6 unpublished nodes that have a menu-item would still show the menu-item but give a "access denied" message. I was hoping that menu-items to unpublished nodes would be hidden in 4.7, but it seams nodes get published when you appoint them to a menu item. This is definitely something you don't want if you ask me.

If I could figure out how to submit bug-fix without cvs access I would work on the solution. Still got more problems finding my way around in the community than coding :s

this is fixed by now in HEAD. But this is an issue and should have been filed there.

Where is this exactly fixed? I installed & configured a site yesterday (4.7.3) and I'm still witnessing this unwanted behaviour...
