$node->teaser contains Drupal teaser not contemplate teaser in similar by terms module

Hello,
http://drupal.org/project/similarterms has the option of showing teasers of related content.
My problem is that it is showing drupal teaser not contemplate teaser.
It provides a tpl.php file, perhaps I can tweak sg there, any ideas?
