I have followed the part B instructions at http://groups.drupal.org/node/24992 .
I have 7 sites to import and aegir will only detect the first 4 (in alphabetical order).
I did a "chown -R aegir:www-data" on the platform directory, so aegir should be able to access the sites files.
Anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate some help.

anarcat commentedDid you follow the bug reporting guidelines?
Maybe those are just the first sites to be imported. Are the tasks created?
keyo commentedThe tasks are not created, the ones that are created verify fine and the sites work.
No I didn't follow the bug reporting guidelines, I will look them up.
Moving this issue to Hosting module since task creation seems to be the issue.
Is there a way to manually create a site import task?
anarcat commentedverify should normally create all the import tasks you need.

keyo commentedOKay, I've read though the bug report guidelines. The environment seems fine, but just to give you a background this is what I'm running.
OS: Ubuntu Hardy, Apache 2, PHP 5.2
Drupal: 6.13 with Hostmaster Install profile
Here is the drush debug I ran for the platform creation task.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedStrange. I just installed fresh using HEAD, and had a separate drupal 6 platform with 9 sites inside it. On verify of this extra platform, all 9 sites were imported.
My layout is pretty much the same except i find the /platforms/ folder overkill, so aegir runs in /var/aegir/drupal-6.13/ and the other platform with the 9 sites was in /var/aegir/drupal-6.13-again/
You haven't incidentally imported these sites in the past, in an earlier install? Just wondering if any leftover drushrc.php files etc from an earlier install might affect a fresh import, but I doubt it
