We are in the process of putting up a site on Drupal. During the process we are migrating data from an existing site into the new DB. Anyway, I had configured a fair number of ads (Ad module) and took a backup of the db(mysql). After running some imports and making changes to most of the Ads we had to fall back to our backup and start the data import again.
My problem is that All the Ads that were set up prior to the backup no longer show. I emptied the Cache and even found a similar button on the Ad settings page. Nothing worked. However the message I recieved was not what I was expecting. "Ad module file-cached data has been flushed TO the database." I wanted the cache deleted, not persisted to the db. Is there a setting I am missing. I could see that being a benefit at times certainly and I don't expect to have to move to a backup too often but it is a bit disconcerting that this would be the case.
Sorry so long. Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks.
