It would be useful if backup of /sites (where generally contributed themes and modules are stored) directory can also be added.

You can create new destinations on the destination tab to backup and directory on the server that the webserver can read.

Created a new destination of "file directory" and in the directory path added /sites and guess what...... BOOM....... It downloaded the whole site directory. Wonderful!

Wondering that with this it might be even possible to download the whole drupal site?
