Hey,
is it possible to create a taxonomy-input with autocomplete, but without the possibility to select multiple terms? With "Free tagging" its possible to separate multiple terms with a comma, but i like to select only one term.
Autocomplete is necessary because 1000+ terms are too much for a single dropdown...

PS: Note I fixed the module to remove depending on apix_install (which is another module of my own)

Check this #845456: Simpler version

It is a very simple and effective module that limits the taxonomy tags to a single value, OR a single numeric value.
