5 days developer time needed for next onedifference sprint

markspall - August 26, 2009 - 12:01

Hi guys,

It's Mark Spall from Global Ethics. We are just about ready to enter the sprint for our 1.4 release of onedifference.org. So I'm needing about 5 days developer time from an experienced Drupaler.

Our sprints consist of :

2 days design
5 days development
3 days testing and amends.

The 5 days dev is the most intense and I'd need your dedicated time for that.

Our 2 days design is just us chatting and working out the best approach for the functionality that we need. We'll use this time to put together a firm spec for the 5 days development and agree pricing etc.

Release 1.4 is most likely to use these modules: email_registration, notifications and something like AddToAny.

It's primary aim of this release is to get some user driven exposure of our content into social spaces and get some viral loops going through email notifications when content is updated. I'd like to get some twitter feeds going too.

We have a great web site coming together with some ambitious goals. I'm sure this is a project you'd like to put your name to.

Ideally I'm looking for someone who is:

on UK timezone
day time availability
is prepared to get stuck in and meet the deadline
is on skype (it just helps sort things quickly!)
has reasonable knowledge of the modules that we plan to use.

Oh and you'll be working remotely! From home, in your bed, in the shower.... wherever you wish, which is nice!

I'd be ready to start design tomorrow and have this wrapped up by Friday for a Monday (well maybe Tuesday cos of bank hol.) development start (the weekend would work for me if that suited you of course).

Hopefully then into test env the following Monday, giving us a live release date of the 10th Sept..ish?

You'd knock my socks off if it could be done early and I'd eat my hat in appreciation!.

Please get in touch via email.... mark@global-ethics.com

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Mark.
