Custom display order

I want to be able to manually specify the order of a group of nodes that I have. Of course I can set them in date order / alphabetical order etc, but I want to be able to drag & drop them into a manual order (only the admins can do this, it's not per-user). I already use nodequeue for something else, but I think that's not the right way to go with this one. Is there a custom manual sort module or something that I've missed?
