I was testing purchases of node access just fine, but something has changed, and now it seems that the users who purchase access to a node are still showing up in the "User access control lists" within the "Access Control" tab of the node. However, for some reason that user can't actually view the node until an administrator clicks "Submit". This was not the case earlier (access was automatic). I have been over and over this. I have disabled and re-enabled all ACL/CA/UC Node Access modules. Rebuilt content permissions. Nothin'. Any ideas would be tremendously appreciated.

I don't know how, but after disabling and re-enabling a particular rule (which caused users who lose a role to have access to the node in question revoked), this seems to be resolved.
