I'm not sure how to frame this questions so I'll just ask by describing a use-case scenario.
Is it possible to set up a Drupal website with a Constant Contact / MailChimp / SugarCRM / Salesforce type service where whoever signs up for a mailing list can get a registered users-only download from the Drupal website?
Is this something that's already easy to do with Drupal?
What is the best way to implement / integrate something like this?
Thanks,
Jon

The setup for my client's site will be: Drupal 6 + MailChimp. When an anonymous user signs up for the newsletter via a MailChimp form, the user gets a "welcome to our newsletter" email along with a (preferably) unique link to download an audio file.
MailChimp and others have auto-responders you can set. But that would mean that the download link would have to be static. That's not much of a problem really; since it's a free giveaway item.
