Thanks in advance for your attention.
I'm using your taxonomy treemenu module and everything is working well, except the translation.
First I created a structured vocabulary, with a tree based on three levels.
When I created it, I choosed the option:
Localized terms...
and the language: English
Then, using the "adding taxonomy treemenu" tab, I create the menu corresponding to the vocabulary.
Then I put the block corresponding to the menu in the left sidebar.
Everything was ok.
Then using the translation table, and the tab taxonomy, I translated in italian all the treemenu of the block.
Then I selected the italian language from the language switcher, and all the other menus were translated except the treemenu.
I tried everything, but I failed.
I would appreciate if you can help me.

rcrowther commentedHello,
I am trying to copy your problem.
I enabled 'Locale' and added 'French'
I enabled 'Content Translation'
I can see 'Translate Interface' in the menus. In 'Translate Interface', I used the 'search' tab, but I can not find taxonomy items.
If I change the language to French, some of the words in my interface change.
I can not understand or copy this step,
"Then using the translation table, and the tab taxonomy, I translated in italian"
If you know what I am doing wrong, please can you help?
Rob

rcrowther commentedI've got further. The module is calling translate correctly. However, I can't translate taxonomy titles/names (Vocab/Term/) etc. Anyone know if this is possible?

rcrowther commentedI've got some news,
I will keep this issue open, because I would like to help. There may be a way of convincing Drupal it should translate menu items (taxonomy or not) anyway.

rcrowther commentedI've got a bit further. Terms won't translate, because there's no way of translating them. Node links believe they are now true menu items, so won't translate. Humm.

rcrowther commentedV7 Yes they do, and there is some help too. This is somewhat ducking and diving round Drupal's rather cool but unfinished work on translations. Any further work will have to go in a DRUPAL 7 release, I think.
