Kosansh.com is a Medical Tourism Portal. We recently released the beta version of this portal. This features Hospitals, Wellness - Cosmetic - Dental Clinics, Ayurvedic Options and also individual doctors who want to provide second opinion services to patients

- Get ratings on answering patient's queries in "health queries" section
Doctor Features

- Association with Hospital ( no duplication of record)
- Ability to upload resume
- List their profile, specialization and hourlyrate
- Provide fee based second opinion services to international patients
Patient Features

- Choose the best hospital/doctor for their surgical, dental, cosmetic needs from list of hospitals
- Seek Second opinion services from best international doctor who offers such service
- Ask queries in health queries section in one or more health communities & rate the best answer
- Choose to either remain anonymous or disclose ones identity
- Build a relationship with a doctor or hospital and share medical records electronically
- Decide how many times can a doctor review a record before access is automatically removed

How long did it take to get the website to beta?
Which modules did you use?
Amount of custom work (besides templating)?
How did you do the multiple registration forms (for different types of users)?
Are the doctors profiles cck nodes? If so, how did you limit the number of nodes per user (so that each doctor will only have a single profile)?

Medical Tourism Facilitator section goes live
We also now added Medical Tourism Facilitator section
If a patient sends inquiry to hospital, it will be sent to his local facilitator, concerned hospital and kosansh and also a ticket will be generated.
Unable to signup as facilitator
I'm unable to sign up as facilitator. Also the form says "Firm Name". Does this mean that individual entrepreneurs cannot sign up as facilitator?

Issue has been fixed

The issue has been fixed. Facilitator registration is enabled. Mind you, it will first go in moderation and then one will get approval. Individuals who have been working in Medical Tourism industry will be approved. They don't have to be firms.

1) Hospitals and Facilitators now are able to post jobs in Kosansh.com
2) Medical Professionals ( Doctors, Nurses, etc) can upload their resumes and apply to job openings
3) Detailed tracking of application
5) Hospital /Facilitator pay $X for every job posting on the website
Helpdesk System and Patient Referral Integrated in Kosansh
Patient referral will create and send a SMS and ticket to Hosptial, Local Facilitator and Kosansh.
For any site issues or other issues, helpdesk is integrated in Kosansh Admin panel.
Working on logistics of integrating with Google Health API and rewriting some pieces of Drupal site into Ruby on Rails.
