I'm trying to bulk change a field for most of our users. I checked only that checkbox for "modify", but when I attempted to modify the fields, VBO reported that I needed to insert a value for the profile required fields (in this case, "First name" and "Last Name"). I obviously don't want to assign everyone the same name! Would it be possible for VBO to ignore required fields when the checkbox to modify those fields aren't checked? I can work around by "unrequiring" the fields, making the change, and adding the requirement back in, but this is annoying.

infojunkieSorry for not getting back to you concerning this issue. It is tricky and I haven't had lots of time to search for a fix.

infojunkieVBO 1.8 was released on September 9, 2009. This issue was fixed on October 8, 2009, so you need to use the dev version. Does it work then?
