gerhard killesreiter commentedit works for me

avpadernoI tried again, but I could not send any message. I also tried sending a simple message like , but the spam checker triggered, and blocked me.
If the website is still using mollow.module, then it is possible to set some roles that automatically bypass the spam checker. Or, in alternative, the problem could be caused by the IP (even if my actual IP doesn't create any problem with drupal.org); or the IP is checked, and it is blocked because I am in a different location from where I usually connect.
I sent messages through the Drupal Association web site before, but I always saw a CAPTCHA form field that now I don't see anymore. Is anything changed?
killes@www.drop.org commentedI have temporarily changed the mollom settings for the contact form, can you try again?
When I used it, I was logged out too.
avpadernoIt worked; this time the CAPTCHA was already present, and I was able to send the message.
Thanks, killes.
avpadernoDoes that mean that when the settings will be changed as they were before I will still have this problem? I hope not; I sometimes report license violations, and I would need to be able to sent a message without to open an issue report because Mollom doesn't allow me to send the message.
gerhard killesreiter commentedI do not know why mollom did prevent your input. I will not change that setting back myself. If anybody eelse does, please re open this issue.
marcoBauli commentedwhen sending the contact form, it requires to enter a captcha, but a captcha form does not show up anywhere on the page. Is actually impossible to contact anyone.
Tried both as auth and anonymous. Thx
Comment #8
gerhard killesreiter commentedPlease try again, it seems there was a problem with mollom's captcha server.

avpadernoAs reported in #572772-1: Spam filter (mollom?) on g.d.o prevents posting and provides no captcha or validation, when the CAPTCHA doesn't appear is because the module is not able to contact the CAPTCHA server. In the same issue, Dave reported that should be necessary to clear the cached CAPTCHA server addresses.
EDIT: The right words used in #572772-5: Spam filter (mollom?) on g.d.o prevents posting and provides no captcha or validation are:

deviantintegral commentedI've cleared the caches for Mollom. As well, I'll be updating Mollom to the same version used on g.d.o which is apparently much better in terms of false positives.

sgprs commentedI'm having this same problem. Before, I've been able to post with no issues. Now, I am not able to post at all in the Groups section. Everytime I try to attach a file, it blocks me. I take out the attachment... it still blocks me. I took out all links in the post... still blocked. What's going on here?
I like Mollom, and am using it on our own site, but man, there just seems to be issue after issue with it. I'm posting from home, the same place I always post from... same IP.
Now, let's see if this posts!
deviantintegral commented@sgprs: This issue was for posting on the association.drupal.org site; if you're still having problems posting on groups.drupal.org, please file a new issue against that component. Thanks!
sgprs commentedAhh... ok. Sorry about that :)
I did a search and came across this thread, but guess I didn't read it clearly.
Thanks!
