Would it be possible to change the module so that the image is not displayed as a link (but just as an image) if the URL-field is empty? (my inspiration comes from the link-module where the text is not displayed as a link if the URL is empty)

I am setting this to active because I can confirm that no image appears unless the you provide URL input with Link Image Field 6.x-1.0-beta2
