uc_cart_links type Wish List button

Forgive me if you've seen this. I've posted this is several other places and have gotten no response. I am desperate to get this resolved. It is holding up delivering this project to my client.

I'm developing a store selling CDs and downloadable Media but don't want the users to have to go through the attributes to pick what they want because it gest comlicated also some attributes must be set and some can not be set together etc. so I am using the cart link and providing buttons for the various choices. Each set of options has a diffrent SKU. Everything is working great and I am close to finalizing this project.

I am not using a standard add to cart button doing everything using cart link. Is it possible to add my own wish list buttons similar to uc_cart_links so I specify the exact attributes and there is a link to add it to the wish list? Is there some other way I can add items to the wishlist without using the add to wishlist button on the form?

Something like /cart/add/p1_q1_a1o2?destination=wishlist ?
