Issue Summary
Hi.
This is an incredible module, an absolute masterpiece for any drupal-community.
I have one request (and I cannot express how much this is needed) to intergrate the Multi-Page chat with User Relationships module, so admins can specify to only show members who are the viewing-user's friend. This would have to be specific though, for example... If a user had two relationship-types, Fan and Buddy, an admin would need to specify only Buddies to be listed in the chat. This would also prevent the issue where a member could see how many online members are on the site, a huge problem IMO. I also think it would be a good idea to make the All Users feature optional.
It would be innexpressibly fantastic if these features could be introduced. Thanks for a fantastic module. Definately one of my favourites.

"User Relationships" module does it.
Bowob module will be integrated with "User Relationships" module.

I looked through the list of updates and the word "Relationship" didn't appear in any of the notes, so I'm guessing this feature hasn't been implemented. Re-opening this feature request to see if there is an update. :)

Would also love to see user relationships integration with this module.

Hello,
#1 comment (by Bowob itself) said that they were working on an integration with Drupal relationship and they expected a solution in October 2009 but now (October 2010) it seems to me there are no official releases yet.
Any news?

I ended up going with cometchat since they have a drupal integration and it works with user relationships. It costs a fair chunk of change for the premium version though, and their sales people are INCREDIBLY annoying (constant email followups from different reps), but it's a good product.
Maybe this module will get some love one day :)

I don't see Drupal mentioned anywhere on their site. Did you have to pay the "premium" fee in order to get them to do some custom work getting it integrated with Drupal?
Also, when you say it works with the User Relationships module... you mean that the only people that will show as "online" in the chat bar are the people with whom the user has a defined relationship, correct?
Thanks!
