Does this module exist?

Hello all,

I'm looking for an "Article" module that can keep track of, and display how many "articles" a member has submitted.

This is different than regular comments/threads, but will still be posted as a thread. So for example a member writes a "how to fish" article, in a regular thread submission page, but there would be a checkbox on the submission page the member checks to denote that they are submitting an actual article, and not just a regular thread. Once submitted, it can either be directly submitted, or sent to a moderator queue for review before being submitted (the choice being set by the admin), and once submitted, gets added to their total article count.

Then whenever a member visits the article writer's profile page, there will be a small line saying something like "Articles submitted: 53".

A nice bonus would be to have a block of top article submitter's names with their total next to each name, and extra bonus if it could interact with the User Badges module so for example, once a member has submitted 10 articles, they get a badge, once they have submitted 20 articles, it's replaced with a different badge, and so on.

I did notice an "Article" module, but it appears to be nothing like what I just described. Is there a module that already does this functionality that I wasn't able to dig up?
