Insert Flash and rotator on my multilingual frontpage

Hi all,

I really appreciate if somebody can give some hints about my "little" problem:

I trying to realize a frontpage of a multilingual website; here's the mockup:

I'm new user of Drupal and I need how to accomplish:

- insert a flash movie in the frontpage and give it nodes references to the flashvars
- create 2 "slideshow" : one for the news ticker, another one for the "about" part below the big kitchen image.

Really appreciate any kind of help cause I've a gap in the knowledge of the correct Drupal workflow.
