[Solved] Navigation on Organic Group ''Mini Sites"

Hello,
I am trying to pull off something specific with the Organic Groups module and need a little guidance in getting started.
I run a business school website. Each of our departments and offices need their own 'mini sites'. This means simply that each dept/office gets their own navigation on the left side...and maybe even their own logo in the top left corner, that would be ideal. I've been reading about 'mini sites' and the Organic Groups module, I just haven't found anything that talks about how to deal with having different menus on the left hand side for each mini site.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Or maybe I've overlooked something really really basic?
The only way I have figured out to have different navigation on different pages is to configure different menu blocks to appear on specific pages. But rather than have to do that for every page which seems cumbersome, I would just like for some way to display the appropriate menu based on which groups pages you are on.
Any progress?

Yes actually I did end up figuring this out. I used the OG Menu and OG Block Visibility modules to implement each group having their own navigation menu on the left, and I'm going to follow this post:

Does OG Menu mean having to set up one menu for every group?
