content access permissions need to be rebuilt

Hello
I have been reading many forums here to try and find a straight solution that will help me, and it would seem there is no real solution so Im asking for help and Im hoping to get a answer that works.
I installed Forum Access Mod and the ACL Mod, I then had a message telling me to rebuild the permissions. I clicked on the button to do so, after HOURS, It has come up as a http error, If I remember the number was 12002. I tried this about three times each time it told me there was an error.
Arrghhheverything was sorking fine till I installed them.
What steps can I take to fix this. One that wont give me more issues later on down the track.
Your help will be very much appreciated.

I had someone who contacted me fix the rebuild permissions, it is now working correctly.
