It seems like there is a module for everything but a FTP or mass file uploader. I need a mass file uploader, something that is internal to Drupal and works with the flows, permissions structure, and roles. I don't just want to uploade images, I want to be able to upload document files, audio, etc. Is there any module out there to assist with this.

A) all modules built on drupal 6.x work with 6.x
B) you shouldn't be using Drupal 6.9. Drupal 6.13 is the lastest, most secure and bug free version that should be used. Thus I"d highly suggest upgrading your site to the latest release so as not to be exploited by publicly known exploits.

I upgraded to 6.13.. was painless. I'm not in production now but I still backed up everything including my database.

I installed IMCE SWFUpload ver 6.x-1.0-alpha1. What's up with the missing browser button and the "Upload Multiple Files" button is not active. I know it's work in progress but am I missing something. This Module is just what I need for mass uploades.
