I have not been able to get news feeds to appear on the front page of the site. The news feed 'block' appears in the correct place (right column) on every other page, but I can not seem to 'promote' it to the front page, even thought "published" and "Promote to front page" are checked.

Any help?

Do you have the frontpage set to "node"?

Otherwise: are you in a position to upgrade to drupal 4.4? If so, please try the latest version and report back if the problem was solved.
