Periodical report on CCK Content updates?

Hello,

I need to generate a periodical report, like by monthly perhaps, for cck content changes of a drupal site: it could be just for the specific contents collected from one cck form (one table, or a custom contentype based on page and cck fields), which also identifies specific alterations or edits made.

Could some of you share with me the how-to knowledge for this? Or is there a module specific for this purpose? I have not used revision for cck content, and that revision maybe a way to keep track of this (version control) task? By the way, I have not used any version control tool, like cvs, for the site, and that is not a possibility. thanks! HUja
