On a multi window chat installation of BoWoB the close button does not work. Pressing the close button redirects to the front page of the site but the bar on the bottom will still be rendered. This is also on the BoWoB demonstration site so I guess it is no conflict with one of the modules on my site.

It is because you have configured the room as "Autoconect".
So when you close the chat, it starts another.

Ok thanks for the clarrification.

Is there a way to make an additional setting so that it is possible to close an autoconnect chat box? I want my users to see the chat when they get to the site but they should have the option to close it. Otherwise the x button is pretty useless I suppose.

For the moment, the close button in a Autoconnect chat only is needed to get a new aleatory guest nickname.
