I have changed permissions in an attempt to fix something and cannot remember what the default permissions were. Perhaps there is a file I can look at to view default permissions?

I tend to throw my hands in the air and set it all to 777 but it would be nice to know what it's meant to be, as I always have the sneaking suspicion that 777 is bad :/
