Is there a way to keep the full node version of the story in a panel once the user clicks on the title?

I have a View of a number of news story teasers inside a Panel. When a user clicks on the title of one of the stories it takes them to the full node, but there is no border around the full node version (because it is not in a Panel).

How would I keep the full node version of the story in a panel once the user clicks on the title?
