I just upgraded to 5x.1.5 and ran the upgrade script, which coughed up this error:

user_badges module

Perhaps the Drupal or PHP logs will tell us more?

I'm assuming this is covered by the notice on the project page:

Note: This release of User Badges for Drupal 5.x will cause an update error for some. If you see a notice about a primary key already existing when you perform an update, it is safe to ignore it.

So it should be fine, but if you have any problems with the module, let me know.
