Description

Firstly thanks for an excellent module, it works a treat.

Any chance we could have a LDAP protocol option in the UI, it is currently set at 3 by default, but if the server can only work on 2 then it will not negotiate, if set to 2 it will negotiate to 3.

I created a user in the LDAP directory that did not exist in Drupal, it correctly created one, but I have the password and email fileds option set to remove on the Drupal user interface, and when I logged in as that user, not only could I see the fields, the email field was incorrectly populated, it had ommitted the @example.net in the address.

The funny thing is that at the time I logged in as every user and the fields were visible, I have logged in this morning to double check before I wrote my observations, and they are no longer visible. (strange)

I know it is still in beta state, but any chance of having a "dependancies" in the documentation ie "extension=php_ldap.dll" to be enabled, and that the password has to reside in the ldap "userpassword" attribute etc.

I am now going to work on the LDAP groups and will report accordingly.

Thanks
Stephen
