I 've just update pathauto module with the last stable release (in my site there was one dev version released on May).

after running update.php, there is no way to log to administration area.
mysite.com/admin page (and everyone else admin/* page) generates a "page not found" error.

the only trick to temporary solve this issue is manually disabling the pathauto module setting '0' in the system DB table.

if module is turned off, I can finally get in administration area.

cache tables are cleaned.

I would this module active as soon as possibile. installing the last dev release doesnt solve this issue.

any idea?

I'm not sure what could be causing this and you're the first person to report it so it's probably something specific to your site which means it will be really hard for anyone else to debug.
