Hello,

I would like to use the twitter modules API in my own module. As far as I understand the 6.3 version does not send out posts by default, which is good. To be consistent it would be nice, if there were no references to twitter on the user pages unless enabled by the administrator.

In other words, add permissions to enter twitter accounts.

There is a permission for this 'add twitter accounts' - does disabling this for a normal user give you the desired effect?

Sorry, I was not aware that I left this ticket open. As far as I remember, withdrawing/not granting the permissions was not sufficient, my solution was to deactivate a views display that seems to have been activated by default and which added the menu item. The module is working great now.
