I use FUpload with CCK Fieldgroup Tabs, and if I put the FUpload field in the second tab, the widget appears in the first one. I don't know if this a bug of FUpload or Tabs, but it's annoying.

It's a bug of FUpload, sorry. It doesn't integrate too well into CCK environment at the moment.
With the new rewrite, I will provide better integration. Keep watching for updates.

I was also hoping to use FUpload with CCK tabs, and have encountered the same issue. Would love to see these two work together :)

It happens because fupload hook form alter is called before groups and tabs hooks.
