Should this module be merged with Vote Up/Down

I don't really have an opinion on this. But, I think its worthwhile considering if drigg should actually be broken down into parts and merged with other modules that are better supported. I think drigg is too large to be maintained by an individual and other than what merc has contributed to this module there, has been very little from anyone else. We have struggled to get a stable drupal 6 version and soon there would be need for a drupal 7 one. I think there are other modules out there that do what drigg does in bits. So, there is the Vote Up/Down module that does the voting bit, there is the emfield module that does the embedding of media and there are many other modules which together probably can accomplish everything that drigg does and a lot more. So, don't u guys think it would be better if drigg users used these modules instead of drigg. These modules are already well supported and with drigg users also adopting them, they would probably do better. Maybe upgrade paths could be created for users to migrate from drigg to these modules.
