Um...I have been begging people for months to have someone help maintain my module. Why didn't you contact me at all when you saw that there was already a Campaign Monitor module out there? The whole point of Drupal is to combine efforts in a community, where now you've gone and created a whole new module. I understand that yours is more advanced functionality, but it should still be possible to create one module that can be simple or advanced depending on which functionality the user wishes to take advantage of.

I'm sorry if I sound a bit frustrated, but I have been wanting to extend the functionality and capabilities of the Campaign Monitor module, and have even posted in my main summary that I was looking for someone to help maintain.

If you are interested in trying to combine our efforts, I'm certainly up for it. There really doesn't seem to be a reason to have duplicate modules. My next release will have the majority of the stuff you already have, so then we will pretty much be copies of each other, which doesn't particularly make sense. If you were worried about not being able to add in features you want, etc, believe me, I'm up for extending the features to as far as the Campaign Monitor API will allow.

Cheers,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie, as we see it now, we really want to invest in CM. We wanted these features really soon (first applications have already launched) so we had to create our own module. I also built up the code a bit differently so we can easily adapt it to other providers like mailchimp and addemar. So this version of this module will always be maintained with this in mind.

Drop me a mail if you want to have a chat on what we can do in the future with the two versions. I think your module as it is now is great for sites with one list. I use it on some small sites too. This module is a bit more complex to configure. Maybe that's one direction this could go in. You can find some ways to contact me on http://www.davyvandenbremt.be/contact to discuss this further. We can skype or google chat or msn then.
